Direction of the Michigan Memorial Phoenix Project returned to the U-M Department of Nuclear Engineering & Radiological Sciences (NERS) in September 2021. On April 8, 2022, we rededicated the memorial and reaffirmed the project’s commitment to advancing the peaceful uses of nuclear energy for the welfare of the human race.
